University Admission & Fee Management Portal

A university's admission season meant thousands of paper applications, manual fee receipts, and long queues that frustrated students and staff alike.

The Challenge

Application processing was entirely manual, fee payments required in-person visits or bank transfers with slow reconciliation, and admission staff had no digital way to track application status at scale.

Our Solution

We built an online admission and fee management portal on PHP and MySQL with Razorpay integration, letting students apply, upload documents, and pay fees entirely online while staff track every application's status from a central dashboard.

Results

The university processed over 8,000 applications online in a single admission cycle, fee reconciliation became automatic, and queues at the admission office effectively disappeared.
